    In business for over 17 years, Green Energy Biofuel LLC (GEB) is a recycling company that specializes in supplying biofuel feedstock to the largest biofuel producers in the world. Biofuels are derived from renewable organic materials, such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and recycled cooking oil, making them a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option compared to conventional fossil fuels.

    Our primary focus is on collecting waste cooking oil from various sources, including restaurants, food manufacturers, and other establishments. Recently GEB has expanded its services to include composting and depackaging to separate High Oil Yield (HOY) food waste from packaging to further assist food manufacturers in reduction of waste.

    Job description

    Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of a building in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; HVAC maintenance; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    Follow specified maintenance schedules and repair procedures to maintain and repair machinery and equipment.

    Help troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate and repair machinery and equipment which may include; passenger vehicles, medium/heavy-duty trucks, various types of pumps, small engines, mechanical separators, HVAC, compressors, pressure washers, fork trucks, diesel and gasoline engines, etc.

    Perform preventative maintenance and provide input on updates to preventative maintenance schedules and tasks.

    Boiler maintenance

    Ability to follow orders efficiently and in a timely fashion.

    Set up and operate a lathe, pipe threader, drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

    Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.

    Attend specialized equipment training as required for the position.

    Communicate needs with the Management Team

    Follow standard safety procedures at all times

    Hands-on monitoring and controlling

    Do everything possible to maximize the efficiency of all processes

    Report equipment issues

    Maintain clean tools and work environment

    Requirements:

    minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment

    Valid driver's license

    Dependable transportation

    Knowledge and experience in the use of various hand tools

    Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics

    Strong electrical knowledge (automotive 12v to commercial 3 phase wiring and everything in between)

    Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment

    Knowledge of diesel engines

    Maturity and Focus are paramount

    Ability to follow standard safety procedures at all times

    Maintain clean tools and work environment

    Dependability and availability to work overtime as needed
