    Description

    D&W Fine Pack, a Mid Oaks Investments portfolio company, provides a wide range of products serving the food service and food packaging industry.

    We have an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Technician 2. In this function you will perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the building structure.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Safety

    · Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines

    · Know emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.

    · Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

    · Understand and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out procedures

    · Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately

    Task

    · Testing and visually inspects machinery and equipment.

    · Trouble shooting machinery and equipment.

    · Repair machines and equipment - installation of new or repaired parts

    · Cleaning and/or lubricating of shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery

    · Installing and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures

    · Performs the following type of maintenance activities:

    o Advanced electrical work

    o Facility repairs Hydraulic/Pneumatic

    o Pump and Valve repairs

    o Basic to advanced HVAC

    o Masonry, Carpentry & Plumbing

    o Basic to Advanced PLC

    · Follow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP’s

    · Support company Food Safety efforts through commitment and compliance with SQF (Safe Quality Foods) standard practices and policies

    · Perform other duties as assigned

    WAGE: Starting Pay is based on experience: $32 to $42

    Schedule: 6:00pm to 2:30am

    Sign On Bonus: $1,250

    Referral Bonus: $1,000

    Education

    Preferred

    Associates or better in Industrial Maintenance or related field.

    High School or better in General.

    Experience

    Required

    3-5 years: Electrical/Mechanical
