    Evergreen Family Medicine is committed to providing excellent care for your family with clinics in Roseburg and Myrtle Creek Oregon. Evergreen Family Medicine serves outpatient needs, including Urgent Care, Family Practice, Women’s Health, Occupational Health, and school-based telehealth.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Weekly walk through of EFM at all locations, checking for damages or leaks; Urgent Care, all pods, all mechanical rooms and water valve closets, public restrooms, check for burnt out light bulbs, automatic door openers. • Maintenance including but not limited to the following: clean parking lot drains (UC total of 13 drains and is a job share, not on your own), cleaning up trash, cigarettes, etc. in parking lot and surrounding area, wash common area windows in Urgent Care area and downstairs and upstairs entry way doors. • Custodial assistance to rooms and public bathrooms as needed. • Allocate and deliver incoming shipments to appropriate departments or locations. • Cover housekeeping duties in absences or vacations. • Assist the housekeeping department when needed. • Vacuum, mop, empty trash, dust, clean mirrors, pick up trash from parking lot. • Stock conference & board rooms with needed supplies. • Complete laundry as needed. • Handle custodial duties such as snow removal and lawn mowing. • Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include: repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. • Maintains facility by repairing walls/drywall, painting, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, windows, and other building fixtures. • Performs duties including but not limited to moving supplies, furniture and equipment. • Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. • Performs routine maintenance and repair to ensure safe and efficient operation • Performs routine maintenance on building systems. • Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. • Clean and repair windows, doors, windowsills, and door locks. • Ensure facilities are locked before leaving for the night • Adheres strictly to EFM departmental standards and policies including state and federal regulations. • Communicates effectively and professionally with co-workers, managers and patients. • Makes sure carts are stocked with supplies for evening shift. • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Ability to follow instructions from maintenance manager • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Knowledge and ability to safely utilize common hand tools required for maintenance and painting. Ability to read and follow instructions and maintenance manuals. • Must have good eye and hand coordination.

    Physical requirements:

    Physical demands are standing 25% of the time on carpet, concrete, tile or linoleum over concrete. Walking 65-75% of the time, lifting-up to 10 lbs frequently, up to 30 lbs occasionally 15% of the day and up to 50 lbs rarely less than 5% of the day. Carrying 10% of the day up to 30 lbs. Pushing/pulling 25% of the time with up to 30 lbs of force. Bending/stooping 50% of the time from the waist to 45 degrees forward, 60% of the time at the neck to 30 degrees down. Reaching/handling 80% of the time, reaching over head to shelves. Twisting 40% of the time at the waist to 90 degrees, 50% of the time at 45 degrees. Climbing/crawling occasionally.
