Job Description

** Purpose of Position:**

• Assist maintenance technicians with projects and repairs. Maintain all mechanical/electrical/electronic equipment at an optimum operating condition to ensure maximum production and product quality as set by production line standards, as well as the equipment manufacturers projected standards.

Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all assigned electronic/mechanical equipment
• Support plant maintenance repair work related to plumbing, sheet metal, pneumatics, electrical and electronics, including PLC and microprocessors.
• Assist other crews as needed, maintain safety, housekeeping and sanitation standards in accordance with GMP’s, SSOP’s and USDA requirements.
• Troubleshoot by utilizing blueprints and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 15 feet
• Must be able to climb steps and ladders
• Must be able to work in tight areas
• Must be able to work with hand tools
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Must be able to work weekends on a frequent basis
• Start shift/location may vary
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
