    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Intern to join our team the Summer 2025! The ideal candidate will be a sophomore (or higher) student with a strong understanding of Maintenance principles and processes.

    • Assist Methods and Reliability Maintenance Teams with preventative maintenance tasks: This could involve activities like PM task steps, spare parts, manuals/drawing organization, etc.
    • Learn and understand basic troubleshooting procedures for various equipment: This may involve shadowing experienced technicians, observing equipment operation, and learning how to identify and diagnose common issues.
    • Support with minor repairs under the guidance of experienced engineers & technicians: This could involve tasks such as replacing parts, assisting with equipment disassembly/reassembly, and performing basic repairs following instructions.
    • Maintain accurate records on assigned tasks and completed repairs: This typically involves logging completed tasks, recording observations, and updating maintenance documentation.
    • Research technical information and safety procedures: This may involve studying technical manuals, researching online resources, and attending safety training sessions.
    • Assist with maintenance inventory organization and management: This could involve tasks like organizing tools and supplies, preparing materials for upcoming maintenance tasks, and maintaining inventory records.
    • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols as outlined by the company: This includes following proper personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines, practicing safe work habits, and reporting any safety concerns.
    • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications

    Position Requirements:

    • Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and preferably focused on mechanical engineering or other related Engineering field
    • Candidates preferred to have completed their second year of engineering studies and entering Junior or Senior year
    • High problem-solving skills and self-direction
    • Ability to work in a team or individual contributor

    Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

    • Familiarity with manufacturing and/or plastic injection molding
    • Mechanical aptitude for machines and tools
    • Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products
    • MS and Power Bi experience is highly preferred

    POSITION RANGE: $20.00- $24.00 USD Hourly (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)
