Summary
The Landscaper/ Maintenance position is responsible for property maintenance and troubleshooting and repairing equipment and building systems. This position is responsible for ensuring facilities are functional, well maintained, and clean. Background Check and Drug Screening required.

Essential Functions
· Perform property upkeep, lawn maintenance, clearing debris within and surrounding the property.
· Operate mowers, weed whackers, saws, power tools, and hand tools.
· Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
· Performing preventative maintenance on lawncare equipment.
· Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
· Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
· Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions.
· Estimate, order, pick up, deliver, and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.
· Snow and ice removal.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing on a regular basis. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
Environmental Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to refrigeration, extreme temperatures, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Landscaping role is exposed to outside conditions.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time Union position. Hours of work are 6:30am – 3:00pm, with occasional overtime.
Required Education and Experience
· Minimum 2 years’ experience landscaping.
· Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance.
· High school diploma or GED.
· Ability to operate landscaping equipment.
· Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
· Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
· Experience performing routine maintenance.
