    DIRECT HIRE | MAINTENANCE MANAGER | Overland Park, KS area

    We are seeking a Maintenance Manager with experience in manufacturing processes, particularly in areas such as sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and CNC machinery.

    • Anticipate $80K (+/-) annually, BOE

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all maintenance operations to ensure equipment and facilities run smoothly.
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
    • Manage maintenance team and related resources.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure safe operation of the maintenance department.
    • Oversee building and grounds maintenance for two facilities.
    • Coordinate maintenance work schedules to meet production needs.
    • Train new maintenance associates.
    • Manage a team of maintenance technicians supporting a single-shift manufacturing plant.
    • Maintain documentation on time sheets, attendance, and corrective actions.
    • Identify root causes of equipment failures and develop plans to prevent recurrence.
    • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repairing production machinery.
    • Specify and purchase necessary repair parts and equipment upgrades.
    • Fabricate, rebuild, relocate, and install equipment as needed.
    • Schedule maintenance activities and personnel.

    This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to stand for long periods. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, able to analyze and resolve production-related issues, and may need to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in manufacturing and industrial maintenance; supervisory experience preferred.
    • Strong troubleshooting aptitude.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external resources.
    • Proficient math skills and analytical abilities.
    • Computer literate with the ability to read equipment diagrams.
    • Capable of training maintenance technicians.
