    Maintenance Manager

    SeaTac, WA

    Our client, a PNW-based producer of all-natural pet food, is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team. As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee equipment installation, repair, and preventive maintenance to ensure the facility runs smoothly. The role requires a proactive leader who will drive efficiency, safety, and profitability in the maintenance operations.

    Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operations, including repairs and project updates.
    • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, prioritizing based on safety and efficiency.
    • Handle procurement, contracts, and contractor management.
    • Set project timelines and ensure on-time/on-budget completion.
    • Implement and review safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Maintain accurate records and manage inventory of parts and tools.
    • Coordinate preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
    • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including fabrication as needed.
    • Conduct root-cause analysis for equipment failures.
    • Lead hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and training for the maintenance team.

    Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

    • At least 7 years in manufacturing maintenance, including 5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in food production.
    • Skilled with CMMS software, Microsoft Office, PLC wiring, and ladder logic.
    • Capable of reading technical manuals and performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
    • Expertise in electrical schematics and circuit troubleshooting.
    • Proficient with hand and power tools.
    • Understanding of electrical schematics and ability to troubleshoot.
    • Experience with food manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

    Compensation: $110-130K DOE
