Real Property Management Southland is an established and growing property management company in Long Beach, CA. We are searching for a dedicated and driven Maintenance Manager for. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the business' maintenance division. The Maintenance Manager must be well versed in vendor and client relations and adhere to strict time schedules. This position will be responsible for timely and complete work to the standards of the Real Property Management organization. They will also perform periodic inspections of all properties.

Responsibilities

Manage maintenance process

Assign work orders, schedule all maintenance actions

Oversee turnovers and profit margin

Provide excellent customer service to property owners and tenants.

Follow up on work orders, completed work, owner approvals, etc.

Manage referrals across departments

Schedule and complete periodic property inspections

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience in maintenance management or suitable experience in residential repairs a plus

Customer Service experience helpful

Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff

Ability to schedule and estimate workers hours and requirements to complete tasks

General maintenance and repair knowledge helpful but not required

Local area knowledge

Two years' experience in administrative support

Proficient with Google Suite

Knowledge of the Internet and email is absolutely necessary!!!

Exceptional customer service ability

Organized and high attention to detail

Willing and skilled at overseeing a small team (Maint. Techs, Maint. Coordinators)
