Maintenance Planner: Full Time Marlboro NY
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance schedules and activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability in a manufacturing plant. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to enhance maintenance processes and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery.
- Prioritize work orders based on production schedules and equipment criticality.
- Ensure that planned maintenance activities are carried out in a timely manner to avoid disruptions.
- Work Order Management:
- Create, review, and manage work orders, including labor, materials, and spare parts requirements.
- Monitor the status of work orders and ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
- Prepare and present maintenance performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals.
- Facilitate communication between maintenance staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components for maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with procurement to source and order necessary materials and supplies.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the maintenance function.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for maintenance planning and execution.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance planning software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment is required
