(1st & 2nd shift openings) The Delta Hotel Orlando Celebration is hiring a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor. The hotel maintenance supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities within a hotel, including scheduling repairs, managing a team of maintenance technicians, conducting regular inspections of facilities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, all while maintaining the functionality and appearance of the hotel property. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for all hotel systems and equipment. • Shift manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance. • Regularly inspect hotel facilities to identify potential maintenance issues, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards. • Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose problems, and coordinate repairs with internal staff or external contractors. • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective repairs and project execution. • Work with external vendors and contractors to schedule maintenance services and ensure quality work is delivered. • Ensure adherence to all safety codes and procedures related to building maintenance. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed. • Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate maintenance activities and address guest concerns. Qualifications: • Prior hotel engineering experience. • Lead or supervisory experience.
