    Job Summary: We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor who sees potential where others see a problem. If you understand the critical role of preventive maintenance in keeping operations smooth, we want you on our team! This is a 2nd shift position, typically from 3-11 pm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and oversee the maintenance team, ensuring all activities align with established procedures.
    • Mentor and guide team members on safety protocols, quality standards, efficiency, and cost-saving measures.
    • Conduct annual performance evaluations for the team.
    • Facilitate daily roll calls to assign tasks, address questions, and reinforce safety protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with PPE, Lockout, and GMP/SQF standards, and verify that team members have the necessary tools.
    • Assign tasks, review and audit preventive maintenance (PM) activities, and follow up to ensure high-quality work.
    • Develop and manage a work list for your area, ensure necessary parts are available, and complete the schedule, including weekends.
    • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and complete 5 Minute Downtime Forms in the AMS system daily.
    • Communicate with AMS for carryover tasks and weekend assignments.
    • Respond promptly to radio calls and be present during breakdowns in your area.
    • Audit at least 10 PMs in your area each week to evaluate thoroughness and identify training needs.
    • Perform additional duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, managing a team of 15+ direct reports.
    • 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician with expertise in maintaining and repairing processing equipment and electrical systems.
    • Familiarity with USDA and HACCP procedures.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Comfortable working in environments with raw meat.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work in extreme conditions, including hot, cold, wet, humid, and odorous environments.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts and extended hours, including weekends.
    • Strong computer literacy and ability to produce clear, concise reports.
    • Results-driven with a strong focus on employee development.
