    Maintenance Supervisor - Student Housing - Base Salary to 32.00/hour - Nashville, TN

    • Our client, a business with over 100 years of history that deeply values the local community and fosters a culture of care, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a student housing community in Nashville, TN.
    • The Maintenance Supervisor will direct the daily activities of a team of maintenance technicians, roads and grounds crew, and vendors/contractors for a residential community to ensure company standards of quality workmanship and customer service are met for change of occupancy maintenance, resident and property work order requests, while also performing maintenance duties similar to the technicians as needed

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the assigned area and supervise lead maintenance technicians.
    • Manage specific property maintenance tasks, including general maintenance, orderliness of HVAC systems, mechanical, electrical, utilities, and lighting systems, as well as inspections and repairs.
    • Direct mechanics, technicians, and outside contractors on assigned projects, while controlling inventory of parts and equipment.
    • Coordinate all maintenance-related and contractor activities.
    • Monitor and facilitate the completion of quarterly, bi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance schedules.
    • Ensure the successful implementation of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
    • Conduct weekly safety training for the entire team.
    • Update all safety, health & risk management logs in compliance with company regulations, including tracking vendor workers, hours, and overall training hours of team members.
    • Deliver the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • EPA 608 Universal certification required
    • Certified Pool Operator may be required
    • Preferred certifications: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair, or Carpentry
    • Preference credentials: CAMT or APPA

    Compensation:

    • Base salary to 32.00/hour, plus bonus
