  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our client, a reputable organization operating in the food manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of all facility, manufacturing, and support systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Represent our client as a member of the management team, promoting the goals of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

    • Assess and improve the efficiency of manufacturing and support systems across the facility.

    • Supervise and mentor maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repair techniques, and equipment maintenance.

    • Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and operational goals.

    • Support employee development through coaching and skill-building initiatives.

    • Lead and enhance the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs for all plant systems and equipment.

    • Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, track equipment history, control inventory, and process purchase orders.

    • Diagnose and repair control systems including PCs, PLCs, and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

    • Apply advanced troubleshooting to electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, variable frequency drives, servo systems, and robotics.

    • Maintain and troubleshoot automated packaging machinery and various process equipment such as pumps, valves, meters, and mixers.

    • Utilize working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility support systems, including steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration.

    • Interpret and work from electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.

    • Prior supervisory experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably food production.

    • Strong technical and analytical skills with hands-on problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and technical schematics.

    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

    $80,000-$85,000 per year
