Your Role and Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for the maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring all machinery, tools, and equipment are properly serviced to support daily production activities.
- Assign daily maintenance tasks, monitor performance, and document outcomes of preventative maintenance efforts.
- Assist other departments with maintenance-related needs or technical support.
- Oversee compliance with OSHA regulations, maintain MSDS documentation, and ensure adherence to environmental standards.
- Provide technical guidance in the design and development of fixtures, tools, machines, and assembly components.
- Manage and adjust maintenance schedules, keeping accurate records to ensure all equipment remains operational and properly serviced.
Shift Schedules
- B Shift: Work Tuesday through Friday evenings. Arrive at the facility by 5:30 PM, with work beginning at 6:00 PM and ending around 5:30 AM the next morning. These are 12-hour shifts, with overtime expected.
OR
- C Shift: Work Friday and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday and Monday nights from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM. This schedule applies to all Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors on C Shift.
Qualifications We’re Seeking
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering combined with at least two years of supervisory experience or an equivalent mix of education and work experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, collect relevant data, and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in automotive manufacturing is strongly preferred.
