  • Responsibilities

    This is an 18-month contract position based in North Vernon, IN.
    Position Description:
    Supports Production operations with all maintenance and repairs for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems such as (but not limited to) 3-axis CNC mills, conveyors, machine automation, and robots.
    Analyzes, solves problems, and maintains all plant equipment using sound troubleshooting techniques and repair methodology.
    Work from available mechanical and electrical drawings and equipment specifications and schematics.
    Assist with research of parts as necessary.
    Perform preventative, predictive, and routine inspection maintenance per work orders.
    Reads and interprets safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, quality documents, set-up instructions, blueprints, and electrical prints.
    Completes charts and other simple documents to communicate to the team.
    Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.

    Experience Required
    Allen Bradley Fanuc and Siemens experience preferred.
    Minimum 1-2 years of CNC experience and 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
    Experience with troubleshooting. Validated experience and ability to use standard maintenance and electrical repair tools and equipment and operate lifting equipment, computer terminals, and other tools/equipment.

    Education Required
    High school diploma or GED.

    MUST HAVE:
    High school diploma or GED.
    Minimum 1-2 years of CNC experience
    2-3 years of maintenance experience.
    Experience with troubleshooting. Validated experience and ability to use standard maintenance and electrical repair tools and equipment and operate lifting equipment, computer terminals, and other tools/equipment.

    Skills Required:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and equipment.
    Preferred with Fanuc robots for recovery and point adjustment.
    Ability to drive a forklift, scissor lift, and articulating arm boom truck.
    Validated experience and ability to use standard maintenance and electrical repair tools and equipment and operate lifting equipment, computer terminals, and other tools/equipment.
