Job Summary
We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You'll complete maintenance on vacant houses to get them move-in ready as well as make repairs at occupied units after residents have taken occupancy. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Maintenance personnel must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle..
Responsibilities
Ideally, conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
Inspect the properties for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
Complete punch lists for make-readies before residents take occupancy
Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced
Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our houses operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
At least 2 years of maintenance experience
Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and/or electrical systems
Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and transportation
