    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for one of our properties in Fort Worth, TX. We are looking for someone that is proactive, self-motivated, reliable, honest and takes great pride in their work and job performance. A ll candidates should have previous experience in landscaping, painting, apartment turnover maintenance and must possess current HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications/licenses.

    ** Job Type :** Full-time

    Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift, with weekend availability, on-call, and possible overtime.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Make repairs and perform daily maintenance of buildings and mechanical equipment installed inside.
    • Coordinate all preventive maintenance work by fulfilling the daily work orders and preparing plans.
    • Prepare vacant units for new tenants in a timely manner.
    • Plumbing fixture replacement
    • Electrical repairs and light fixture replacements
    • Sheetrock repairs and interior painting
    • HVAC/EPA maintenance
    • Carpentry repairs (cabinet and doors)
    • Troubleshooting all work orders, maintaining/cleaning grounds and common areas.
    • Monitor and constantly inspect building systems, fire, electrical, security, elevators, etc. Report all unsafe areas to Lead Maintenance.
    • Maintain a workplace that adheres to OSHA and all safety standards.
    • Maintain flammable and hazardous materials in a safe and secure area.
    • Assist with a preventive maintenance program for all building interiors and exteriors including pools, and fitness equipment. HVAC systems, lighting, etc.
    • Respond to all service requests within 24 hours. Ensure that all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
    • Maintain proper inventory of all tools and supplies needed.
    • Ensure all physical aspects of the building, grounds and amenities meet the Company’s standard for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
    • Must have experience in plumbing, electrical repair, painting, appliance repair and drywall.
    • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
    • Must have valid driver's license, insurance and car registration, if driving for business purposes.
    • Ability to be on-call and on the property short notice, when needed.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • Prior experience as an apartment maintenance technician or similar role
    • Must have experience in plumbing, electrical repair, painting, appliance repair and drywall.
    • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
    • Must have valid driver's license, insurance and car registration, if driving for business purposes.
    • Ability to be on-call and on the property on short notice, when needed.
    • HVAC Certified, preferred.

    Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience
