In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of production machinery, playing a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our manufacturing systems. You'll collaborate with the team to troubleshoot, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, install, repair, and maintain production equipment, including presses, rewinders, and inspection systems.
- Identify ways to enhance equipment performance and upgrade machinery to boost productivity.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and implement corrective actions to restore optimal operation.
- Supervise the setup and relocation of machinery as required to meet changing production needs.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, facilities, and grounds to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee parts inventory and work closely with the machine shop for equipment modifications.
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to and maintain a well-organized, clean workspace.
Required Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience in the printing or manufacturing sector.
- At least 3 years of experience reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- More than 3 years of experience using ERP systems for work orders and maintenance tracking.
- At least 3 years of experience using precision tools, electronic diagnostic equipment, and forklifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education or certifications in industrial maintenance or a related area.
- 1+ years of experience working with advanced machinery and printing equipment.
- 1+ years of experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) or automation systems.
- Leadership or supervisory experience for at least 1 year.
Additional Information:
- This role is 100% on-site.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for training or vendor support.
