    Foreside Management, located in Orono, ME, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. With a competitive salary range of $20-$30/hr, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained to the highest standards. As a Maintenance Technician at Foreside Management, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise in diagnosing and repairing issues efficiently. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team to tackle various maintenance tasks, from plumbing and electrical work to general repairs. Some administrative tasks are required. *Clean driving record and reliable transportation are required. Responsibilities: • Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical • Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule • Demonstrates superior customer service • Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed • Loading and unloading building materials and tools • Being compliant with all health and safety regulations • Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls, and perform necessary repairs • Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed Qualifications: • 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred • Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical • Ability to work independently and with other team members • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues • Ability to communicate well with people • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license • Must have own tools • Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
