    Role: Maintenance Technician I – Plastic Production (Weeknights 5:00pm-5:00am Monday-Thursday) Shift Differential included

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Trend Analysis: Review daily data and performance trends.

    Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.

    Engagement: Communicate with management and production teams to monitor equipment and facilities.

    Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, air, and hydraulic systems.

    Emergency Response: Respond to urgent calls to restore equipment functionality.

    Inventory Management: Track and report parts usage to manage inventory.

    Upgrades: Design and implement upgrades to improve equipment usability.

    Safety: Ensure all equipment guards, safeguards, and procedures are in place and functional.

    Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.

    Competencies:

    Mechanical Problem-Solving: Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.

    Proficient Repair Skills: Expertise in electrical, mechanical, air, and hydraulic repairs.

    Training Ability: Capable of training others on equipment maintenance.

    Machinery Mastery: Ability to learn and master machinery and maintenance needs.

    Industry Knowledge: Understand industry materials, specifications, and read shop drawings.

    Enjoyment of Machinery: Passion for working with machinery and tools.
