On-Site HOA Maintenance Team – Greenacres/Lake Worth Rd Area
Work hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm – adjusted as necessary.
Maintenance
Part of a multi person maintenance crew handling all maintenance needs of a 500+ unit HOA.
Background search will be performed including criminal check; applicant must have no criminal record, a clean driving record and be willing to take and pass a drug test. We participate in ongoing drug testing. The successful candidate must pass these tests to secure employment.
Duties include:
All aspects of maintaining the community including all common areas and unit owner portions HOA is responsible for. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Fence repair and maintenance, keeping community free of trash and debris, maintaining dumpster areas, basic plumbing repairs, drywall repair, painting, door repairs, general repairs, and all repairs and tasks as directed by maintenance supervisor.
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Possess general skill and knowledge of repair and maintenance, and Ability to perform basic maintenance, light electrical, strong cleaning ability, basic plumbing, operate all general tools, drywall repair, painting and basic wood working knowledge. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
Basic ability to speak and communicate in English.
Maintain a valid Florida driver’s license
At least 2 years in building trades, and/or general maintenance or related experience, with broad experience and knowledge of maintenance routines and activities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
Work throughout the day in a standing position, range of reach, full mobility of body.
Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions
Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level
Ability to work in different outdoor working conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity)
Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally to complete assigned job tasks
Communicate clearly and understand clearly, both written and orally.

Pay: $18 to $19 hourly based on skills, ability and experience.
