This position is responsible for the maintenance and oversight across the entire Peacock Properties Portfolio. This position is responsible for completing tasks assigned in a timely and efficient manner. This position will require a proficient use of hand and power tools and light carpentry/painting skills. This position will require a certain degree of knowledge pertaining to condominium buildings, building systems, residential and commercial construction.
The primary duties include but are not limited too:
Ensures that all work sites from interior common areas of all building to the exterior grounds of the property are left clean and safe after the completion of assignment.
Responsible for keeping a clean and organized work vehicle.
Responsible for alerting management when vehicle maintenance is needed and facilitation of the maintenance.
Responsible for maintaining van inventory (tools and materials).
No Smoking will be permitted in the work vehicle or on any property under management.
Will be required to wear company provided uniform on a daily basis.
Will be in charge of purchasing materials necessary to complete maintenance items and submitting work orders on a daily basis.
Will be in charge of accurately tracking billable hours onsite and adding them into work orders.
Maintains all buildings by performing minor and routine maintenance activities including but not limited too: Painting, cleaning, carpentry, handyman, light plumbing and electrical, ad hoc requests.
In conjunction with relevant staff, oversee contracted projects to the common areas to verify adherence to specifications as/if needed.
Makes recommendations for supplies, materials and equipment needed on a property at any given point. Reports any additional findings/repairs to relevant staff to make the most efficient use of all maintenance requests and billable time.
Responsible for assisting the Board of Trustees and relevant staff in maintaining the physical condition of the building.
On an emergency basis only, the Maintenance Technician performs minor repairs in individual units, when not to do so would present a threat to the security or safety of other residents, or cause property damage to other units or common areas at the owners’ expense.
Prepares and maintains a wide variety of maintenance logs.
Will be required to respond to certain emergency situations as needed.
Must represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English.
Must be able to work in a team driven environment.
Must be deadline and detail oriented.
Must be able to physically handle work load with a capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Working presence Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day.
Maintains a solid working relationship with the management company and property staff.

Maintains relationships with suppliers, vendors and professionals servicing the property.
Education:
High School or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Drivers License.
OSHA (preferred not required).
