To keep these systems running seamlessly, we need a skilled Maintenance Technician who can harness modern technologies and innovative diagnostic tools to ensure peak performance across our facilities.

As our Maintenance Technician, your expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting will be crucial in maintaining our high-performance equipment. Your hands-on skills with advanced technologies—from PLC-controlled systems to IoT-driven predictive maintenance tools—will ensure that our sustainable packaging solutions are produced without interruption.

    Here’s what you’ll be doing

    You’ll be an integral part of our manufacturing team, ensuring our machinery and automation systems operate efficiently and reliably. Your role will involve:

    Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:

    Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid repairs on injection molding machines (e.g., Arburg ALLROUNDER), CNC machining centers, robotics systems, and other automated production equipment.

    Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

    Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and IoT sensor technology to monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.

    PLC & Automation Systems:

    Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC-controlled systems, and work with SCADA and HMI interfaces to optimize operational performance.

    Electrical & Mechanical Repairs:

    Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, servo motors, variable frequency drives, hydraulic systems, and other critical components.

    Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

    Work closely with production, engineering, and automation teams to implement process improvements and maintain rigorous safety and quality standards.

    Documentation:

    Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

    You need these qualifications

    • A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

    • Proficiency with PLC programming and troubleshooting and experience with SCADA/HMI systems.

    • Solid understanding of CNC machine maintenance and repair techniques.

    • Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and IoT sensor technologies for predictive maintenance.

    • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret technical schematics.

    • A proactive mindset and excellent communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

    It would be nice if

    • You have experience working in a sustainable or eco-friendly manufacturing setting.

    • You are familiar with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.

    • You hold certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical engineering, or related fields.

    • You’ve previously implemented process improvements that enhanced equipment uptime and production efficiency.

    You should be proficient in:

    • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
    • Electrical Troubleshooting

    Salary info:

    $30 - $38 / hr
