We are looking for a hardworking and passionate Maintenance Technician to uphold Buncher’s standards while completing a wide variety of day-to-day tasks; provide impeccable customer service to our tenants; work in partnership with all Buncher departments to ensure the Company’s portfolio is maintained in an effective and efficient manner to provide a safe and reliable working environment. Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position will vary significantly from day to day and week to week, and will include, but are not limited to: • Conduct property inspections and submit deficiencies and repair needs as well as general upkeep and improvement recommendations to Maintenance Manager. • Perform scheduled and unscheduled general repairs, installation, and maintenance. • Directly or indirectly support all exterior grounds activities including maintenance and repair of exterior areas as needed. • Perform painting, light carpentry, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs. • Directly or indirectly support the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and water distribution, including fire suppression. • Competent knowledge of OSHA safety standards as well as the use and care of tools and equipment used in property repairs. • Interact with tenants, visitors, and contractors in a professional, timely, and courteous manner. • Respond to tenant/manager work requests using the work order management system. • Respond immediately to emergency situations and tenant concerns. • On-call rotation for after-normal business hours emergencies. • Perform all work to industry standards and maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times. • Complete other special projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 2-5 years previous experience in commercial property management. • Basic IT skills including ability to use Buncher-selected technology and systems (i.e., Microsoft Office, iPhone, iPad, laptop, etc.) • Familiarity with Prism / Building Engines or other work order systems a plus. • HVAC or other maintenance certifications is a plus but not a requirement. • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 80 lbs. and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, climb, kneel and balance as part of performing job tasks. • Must be able to prioritize multiple deadlines efficiently. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Excellent organization skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Must be team oriented and possess and “upbeat / can do” attitude. • Must posses a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Compensation: $26 - $28 hourly
