    We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Responsibilities: • Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks • Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced • Manage other maintenance requests as required • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs • Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria and knowledge of computer software Qualifications: • Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • Over 2 years of maintenance experience • Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends • Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record required Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
