This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting new installation projects in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance and repair issues.
- Perform minor electrical and plumbing work as needed.
- Repair equipment breakdowns to maintain production flow.
- Assist with machine setup, operation, and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and managers.
- Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and meets operating standards.
- Identify and resolve potential maintenance concerns through regular walkthroughs.
- Complete painting, structural repairs, and other facility maintenance tasks as needed.
- Work on new equipment installations and support operational improvements.
- Prioritize safety and compliance by addressing hazards and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Prior forklift operation experience (certification a plus).
- Experience with industrial equipment repair , including conveyors, motors, pumps, and hydraulics.
- Basic understanding of welding and fabrication.
Salary info:
$21 - $30 / hr
