You will work with and learn from our Maintenance Manager of 20 years to conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and assist with coming up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. Responsibilities: • Assist our Maintenance Manager and learn the operations of the building. • The position includes janitorial services on a daily basis and will assist in other departments such as housekeeping when needed. • This ideal candidate will have supervisory skills to ensure that the department functions during times when the Maintenance Manager is not available. • Manage maintenance requests as required. • Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced. • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make many repairs. Qualifications: • Requires a clean driving record. Will be required to drive the company van to and from the airport and for errands. • Previous Certified Pool Operator certified preferred or must be able to pass the certification within 1 year of hire. • Shift includes weekends and holidays. Flexible to fill in for other shifts as needed and demand of occupancy/events. • Preferably 2 years of maintenance experience. • Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems. • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic. • Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent. Compensation: $18 - $21 hourly
