Job Description:

NCA is looking for a skilled maintenance worker to perform tasks such as repairs, as well as plan and coordinate the upkeep and cleanliness of the facilities. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment, perform and schedule preventative maintenance and handle basic repairs as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to work in a team environment and successfully and positively communicate with supervisor, members of team, other departments and vendors.

• Plan and coordinate the upkeep of the facility

• Perform maintenance on exterior and interior of buildings, repairs or replacement related to plumbing fixtures, carpentry, electrical fixtures, door hardware, etc.

• Perform custodial and other miscellaneous facilities tasks.

• Accompany vendors working in the building when needed.

• Performs exterior repairs or replacements related to roofs, soffits, siding, gutters, downspouts, windows and screens, and more. Investigates and resolves work orders.

• Maintains sidewalks and parking lots by keeping them clean and free of debris.

• Prepares, monitors and serves as parking lot assistant during drop off and pick up times of students.

• Performs janitorial services. Assist with duties that may consist of trash removal, vacuuming, waxing and mopping floors, and sweeping hallways.

• Planning, setup & breakdown school events

• Completes accurate paperwork, records, and documents in a timely manner

• Tracking, inventory and ordering custodial/operational supplies

• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.

• Driving record in good standing.

• High school diploma.

• 2+ years’ experience in a related field.

• Preferred- HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing and trade cert.
