This position is to provide upkeep and repairs to the grounds and building of Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort.

The primary job responsibilities are to keep the appearance of the business immaculate.

This includes: All aspects of lawn, landscaping and driveway care.

Maintenance of all buildings, indoor and outdoor.

Maintenance of all equipment and tools used in job assignments.

Maintenance of business equipment as requested by Manager.

Maintenance of HVAC, grooming dryers, clothes dryers, washers etc.

Mowing, cleaning, painting, leaf and snow removal, driveway maintenance, fence maintenance.

Maintaining equipment used to complete job assignments and keeping such equipment and tools in good working condition. Performing minor repairs on such equipment as needed or new equipment necessary to adequately complete assignments. Also, keeping equipment and tools put away in proper storage areas.

Minor repair work inside business including, but not limited to, lighting, painting, minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.

At the request of a team member to help with the hospital/kennel with cleaning or other duties that may need doing.

Skills and Knowledge

Apply knowledge and skills in building and grounds maintenance.

Ability to assess and prioritize work requests to determine the daily schedule.

Some knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.

Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor.

Knowledge of small machine maintenance.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

Understand and carry out oral and written direction.

Knowledge of computers.
