IDEAL CANDIDATES: Have messenger services, post mates and/or food delivery experience.
POSITION SUMMARY: ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - We're seeking a Part-time (20 - 30hrs per week, there are currently NO full-time opportunities) BIKER/Porter who will be responsible for the upkeep of townhouses, brownstones and multi-family residential apartments. Candidate MUST be willing and physically able to proficiently ride a bike at night, in the sun, in the rain, in warm and cold weather conditions.
TIME REQUIREMENT: P\T – Typically 3 - 6 days per week, between 1:30PM and 9:30PM; 3 - 8 hours per day.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must RIDE be able to ride a bike and make stops frequently.
Perform routine and comprehensive maintenance of assigned properties.
Meticulously maintains curb appeal by sweeping, remove trash and recycling in accordance with procedures.
Must be able to shovel snow (all snow related work is regular pay plus 1 half.)
Reports and responds to emergency calls for maintenance assistance.
Respond to service requests, coordinates resources and implements the setup of a variety of maintenance related jobs.
Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on properties to the Dispatcher.
Other responsibilities. Assume other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 18 years of age & eligible to work in the United States
Must have a reliable smartphone with the following specs: 2.3 gHz processor, LTE or 4G compatible, minimum 5mp front facing camera, 4GB RAM, Quad Core processor minimum, 32GB minimum internal memory and battery life must be at least 20 hours talk time. Must be able to ride bicycle with demonstrated comfort
Must have graduated from high school or achieved it’s equivalency
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking. Must be able to work safely in an environment containing caustic chemicals, cleaning materials, dust and noise. Routinely required to work under inclement weather conditions.
Must be able to work various shifts on weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays
Able to work outdoors in all cold, wet and warm weather conditions
Mandatory to work during snow season as a shoveler
