Maintenance Manager
A large chemical operation needs a maintenance manager . Budgets, personnel, programs, CAPEX, both maintenance and reliability, etc. Senior position; needs someone with a lot of experience!

- REQUIRES 7+ Years in managing maintenance/reliability (plus non-management)
- Must have 4 year degree
- Experience in paper, chemical, etc.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; will not require sponsorship
Scope:
- Senior-level position in charge of all aspects of the maintenance group and program
- Direct team of over 35 people with $9M - $11M budget
- Reorganized, update, implement a top-notch maintenance/reliability program working with both GM and corporate
- Improve system, then work with corporate to roll into their systems
- Extensive work putting together a training, development and retention program for the group (obviously working with site director and HR, etc)
- Part of senior strategic planning team for major CapEx projects
- Implement/manage a quantitative continuous improvement program into the group; six sigma can be handy
- Work with a PSM framework
- “Usual” Maintenance Manager stuff:
- Full TPM (modified in-house TPM/RCM) system – rework and so forth
- Full reliability program for rotating and fixed equipment, NDT, vibration ,oil, etc
- Manage planning/engineering function and people in group
- Explicit career path – can advance to multi-site or corporate type position
Required:
- Appropriate 4-year degree
- Prefer over 15 years of experience
- At least 5 year of maintenance/reliability management in chemical manufacturing type setting
- Must have experience in design/implementation of a maintenance program or systems
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring a visa visa
