    Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Maintenance Worker for Grounds & Apartment Maintenance. The role involves maintaining the grounds and ensuring that apartment and office units are safe, clean, and fully operational. This includes a wide range of tasks such as routine repairs, landscaping, and addressing tenant maintenance requests.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartment units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.

    Conduct inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and address maintenance needs.

    Complete apartment turnovers, including painting, repairing appliances, and ensuring units are move-in ready.

    Maintain grounds by trimming, weeding, and performing seasonal landscaping tasks.

    Remove trash, debris, and snow from outdoor areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.

    Address and resolve tenant maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

    Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

    Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.

    Assist with special projects and upgrades as needed.

    Requirements:

    Previous experience in apartment or property maintenance, or related fields is preferred.

    Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).

    Ability to work independently and handle a variety of maintenance tasks.

    Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

    Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with tenants.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
