    THE TEAM 

      

    Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our 59 Chapters around the country. The Integrated Fundraising Team's focus is to maximize donor engagement and elevate fundraising programs across the country through multichannel, mass marking programs aimed at aggressively and sustainably growing the enterprise funding base. 

      

    THE ROLE 

      

    The Vice President of National Integrated Fundraising is a key contributor to our mission by leading the design and implementation of donor acquisition, retention and cultivation strategies across direct response, peer-to-peer, monthly giving and internal event programs. These efforts also sustain and support lead generation for major gift, planned gift and stewardship programs. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of National Integrated Fundraising provides thought leadership across the Make-A-Wish Enterprise, interfacing with senior leaders and stakeholders on the national and chapter teams. This position leads a full department of digital fundraisers, responsible for significant revenue goals, and reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

      

      

      

    WHERE YOU COME IN 

      

    As the Vice President of National Integrated Fundraising at Make-A-Wish America you will: 

      

    • Lead planning and development of integrated direct response program strategy including direct mail, television, and digital channels.

    • Lead planning and development of peer-to-peer and chapter event strategies.

    • Act as business lead for business transformation initiatives that are donor facing such as CRM, eCRM and website.

    • Establish financial targets and budget goals for team, implements operating budget and uses financial analysis to evaluate and address changing priorities.

    • Support chapters to generate public support effectively and efficiently within their respective territories; to diversify their funding base; and to operate within the relevant policies and guidelines of the Foundation including national programs that may affect local efforts.

    • Develop, coordinate, guide and maintain the Integrated Fundraising team's strategic and operational plans in support of the overall mission and business strategy.

    • Define a roadmap, creates business cases, and participates in implementation of technology needed to support digital fundraising and donor experience optimization.

    • Communicate with departments, staff, and consultants on the status of day-to-day activities and current projects; plans and schedules future projects; participates in projects as appropriate.

    • Analyze the needs of chapters or other teams who utilize mail, television, or digital channels to communicate with donors or prospects.

    • Manage the daily activities of subordinates to ensure assigned duties are completed in accordance with time, cost, and business objectives.

    • Develop, prepare, monitor, and control the departmental budget; analyze and review budgetary and financial data; control and authorize expenditures in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

    • Directly supervise employees in the Integrated Fundraising department, this includes: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving conflict.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

      

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred

    • 7+ years of digital fundraising experience in a senior leadership role

    • 3+ years of leading and coaching others

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required

    • Database and online fundraising platform management experience desired, preferably with Salesforce tools
