Location: Fully Remote, with some travel required (up to 10%)

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented B2B Sales Representative to join a rapidly growing national CBD products company.
This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity reporting to the Director of Wholesale. The CPG Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in driving company revenue growth and personal overall sales goals. Ideal candidates will have proven success in a quota-driven sales environment, and will ideally have experience selling CPG products into the Convenience Channel.
This role is responsible for proactive business development and mining for new accounts and opportunities. SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
High volume cold calling and client prospecting will be required each day
Use a variety of methods for strategic follow up and moving leads through your pipeline
Effectively consult with clients on their business needs and successes, as well as challenges. Recommend specific products that will meet their needs, solve their problems, and create new opportunities for revenue.
Proactively take responsibility for learning and understanding our portfolio of 75+ CBD products.
Must be self motivated and responsible to deliver full-time effort and results in a self-directed home environment. Sales activities must be logged in the CRM daily. Proactive communication with management is a necessary aspect of this remote role.
Follow up on all assigned leads in a timely manner
Meet or exceed sales quotas and goals, as established by the Director of Wholesale and the EVP of Sales.
Build relationships and generate new business opportunities using appropriate company resources, programs, cold-calling, and excellent follow-up techniques.
Stay up-to-date on industry and market knowledge
Responsible for meeting/exceeding monthly, quarterly and yearly sales quotas and revenue goals through account research, development and maintenance
Present weekly reporting of sales calls, revenue generation/conversion success rates vs. target and activities planned and completed. Collaborate with your manager to identify strategies for constant improvement and growth.
Responsible for growing assigned accounts to the established goals set by the Director of Wholesale and the EVP of Sales.
Assist in business development and other strategic imperatives required working with the Marketing Team to make preliminary calls to qualify leads. Must achieve objectives for production and profitability on assigned accounts.
Must log all activities in the CRM for account management and tracking purposes.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
CPG Sales and Wholesale experience, ideally within Convenience Channel
3+ years proven success in a quota-driven sales environment
3+ years of outbound cold calling sales experience
CRM proficiency, ideally Salesforce
Must have proven success in a quota driven environment; must be passionate about reaching goals and earning commissions.
Proven ability to communicate well with customers and internal teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills; effective presentation skills
Strong problem solving, listening and interpersonal (negotiation) skills
Must be self-motivated and passionate about career growth & achieving success
Some Travel required (up to 10%)
DESIRED SKILLS (Training Provided as Needed)
CBD Industry knowledge and experience preferred
Knowledge of Regional/State Sales strategies, and Territory Planning
Understanding of distributor, retailer, online and independent business markets
Experience achieving objectives related to written premium, loss ratio, retention, pricing and service
Email Marketing experience, and other lead generation strategies
TARGET ANNUAL EARNINGS
Base Salary: $45K base
Commissions:
New sales—5% commission
Year one renewals—5% commission
Year two and beyond renewals—2% for accounts in good standing
Commissions will be paid out for the duration of your employment
Incentives and commissions can increase with higher target customer acquisition and retention with consistent repeat business; high annual growth potential for additional commissions likely with proper account management

Two weeks vacation + One week PTO, after Six months employment
