Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all beverage outlets in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures and all federal, state, and local liquor, health and safety regulations. Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and discharging. Assist the Food and Beverage Director in establishing budget goals and monitoring financial aspects of the beverage department.

We are seeking an experienced Beverage Manager to join our team in Opelousas, United States. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our beverage operations, including program development, inventory management, and team leadership while ensuring exceptional customer service and profitability.

• Develop and implement innovative beverage programs while maintaining quality standards
• Manage beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
• Create and maintain beverage cost controls and pricing strategies
• Train and supervise beverage service staff on proper service techniques and protocols
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
• Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize beverage menu offerings
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain product quality and cost efficiency
• Monitor and maintain beverage service equipment
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing training for beverage service team
• Collaborate with kitchen team for food and beverage pairing recommendations

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience in beverage management
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and current beverage trends
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management and cost control
• Excellent team leadership and staff development skills
• Proficiency in POS systems and beverage inventory management software
• Strong analytical and budget management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Current Food Safety Certification required
• Valid alcohol service certification (ServSafe Alcohol or equivalent)
• Comprehensive understanding of local and federal alcohol service regulations
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
