  • Responsibilities

    Aspire Health Alliance is hiring a Behavioral Health Clinician who will also serve part-time as Manager, Clinical Applications User Experience. This hybrid role blends direct client care with supporting and improving clinical systems like Avatar and Bell’s AI. The clinician will help design, implement, and train staff on EHR systems, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and user-friendly.

    By combining clinical insight with technical know-how, this role improves how services are documented, billed, and delivered. A licensed clinician serving as a technical trainer enhances the integrity of system changes and training, helping ensure smoother implementation and better outcomes for both staff and clients.

    **Clinical (50%) **

    • Deliver high-quality behavioral health services to include intake, assessment, treatment planning, and risk management.

    • Maintain therapeutic relationships, apply diverse modalities, and ensure ethical practice.

    • Engage in case consultation, supervision, and coordinate care with community and internal providers.

    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation aligned with regulatory and agency standards.

    ** Technology & Systems (50%) **

    • Act as SME for the Avatar EHR system and serve as lead liaison across superusers, IT, and clinical teams.

    • Support form/workflow development, testing, training, and user experience improvements.

    • Lead onboarding and training for clinical staff, ensuring user adoption and EHR efficiency.

    • Participate in strategic planning, vendor coordination, and system optimization efforts.

    • Facilitate feedback loops and communication across teams on system updates and issues.

    This role of clinical systems technical lead is expected to require 50% of weekly work hours, and 50% of weekly work hours will be dedicated to clinical direct-care services.

    Required Skills

    • Licensed clinician with behavioral health experience.

    • Strong understanding of EHR systems (especially Avatar).

    • Empathy-driven, systems-aware, and committed to improving clinical technology usability.

    **Education : **

    • Licensed or license-eligible Behavioral Health Clinician (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW). Master's degree required.

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience providing direct care in a behavioral health setting.

    • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, documentation requirements, and behavioral health service delivery.

    • Familiarity with electronic health records, particularly Avatar EHR, and comfort with learning new technologies.

    • Experience with training, mentoring, or onboarding clinical staff in the use of technology systems is highly desirable.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical and user experience issues and escalate as needed.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with both clinical and IT teams.
