    Job Description

    Managers work within our collaborative teams to analyze complex construction scheduling and project cost issues, often related to business disputes including litigation. Managers’ daily responsibilities include:

    • Maintain and foster client relationships through superior client service.
    • Detailed analysis of data and documentation, such as: construction drawings, schedules, submittals and shop drawings, daily reports, weather data, cost reports, and more, to determine trends and key findings.
    • Preparation of forensic schedule analysis utilizing various methods, such as As-Planned vs. As-Built and Windows Analyses.
    • Labor productivity evaluations.
    • Calculation of delay damages, calculation of lost profit / income, and assessment of consequential damages.
    • Review and verify construction costs and cost reasonableness.
    • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6.
    • Perform reviews of baseline and periodic schedule updates for quality, compliance with specifications and overall reasonableness.
    • Prepare and /or assist with the preparation of expert reports, expert testimony and exhibits for trial or settlement negotiations, and provide client support during litigation, arbitration or mediation.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, construction-related field (i.e.: architecture, construction management, engineering).
    • 4+ years of experience working in construction management, construction claims, or project controls.
    • Prior experience as consultant working on damages and investigative work in support of contractual disputes, dealy claims, and litigation.
    • Proficient in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
    • Ability to work in a consultant setting and track time and monitor activities against a budget.
    • Must be able to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing.
    • Proficient with standard software packages (word processing, spreadsheets, Adobe).
    • Proficient with scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

    The hiring range for this position is estimated at 120,000 to 155,000.
