WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Manager, Data Science & Analytics, you will lead a team of three, managing two data science roles and one marketing analytics role. You will work to uncover data, normalize data sets for in-depth analysis, and make recommendations to optimize our analytic capabilities. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Data Science & Analytics team
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting a data-driven culture within the organization
Collaborate with business leaders to identify key data needs and translate them into actionable insights. This includes leading the development of advanced analytical models and analyzing large datasets to uncover trends and insights
Oversee all data science & analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful execution
Effectively communicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, or a related field (required)
Master's degree in data science or a relevant field (preferred)
3-5 years of professional experience in data science/analytics
Experience with SQL, R, or Python (beneficial)
Experience with applied statistics and quantitative modeling (e.g., regression, survival analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and machine learning when needed)
Experience with Tableau or another reputable data visualization tool (beneficial)
Demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into clear recommendations and effectively communicate them to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to respond to challenges with conviction
Strong leadership, organization, and management skills
