    Primary Purpose:

    We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team and support and lead the development of the CDS expanded live and virtual education and events. Under the direction of the CEO, the Manager of Education and Learning Experiences will be responsible for the expanded spectrum of educational product offerings and services and acts as the crucial link between stakeholders (members, non-members, staff, and customers) and administration for education-related topics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Serves as the project management lead for all educational components and strategic initiatives for the Midwinter meeting and CDS events, including the development of project and communication plans and timelines for deliverables.

    Responsible for virtual learning strategy and implementation, including identification of content partners and new methodologies/formats for virtual learning and community building.

    Develops an educational strategy for traditional and innovative learning experiences for the Midwinter Meeting and all designated events and ensures successful execution of all events for attendees.

    Develop and implement frameworks to track program outcomes and impact, including identifying relevant metrics and measurements to evaluate program results, ROI, participation, and effectiveness.

    Leads the content delivery and management of all platforms for all events including but not limited to the Learning Management System (LMS), i.e., Cadmium, virtual learning and video and related tools and processes.

    Oversees and leads all speaker management tools and resources while supporting the development of course content, working in collaboration with CDS team members to ensure all deadlines and project timelines are met. Oversees speaker management (including contracting, correspondence, housing, and travel needs, rehearsal information and on-site support); to ensure exceptional presentations and attendee experience for CDS speakers and faculty.

    In collaboration with the Director, Scientific Programming, supporting on-site experience for faculty, speakers for the Midwinter Meeting and oversight of the annual operating budget for Education.

    Manage conference and workshop audio/video capture process, including content identification, selection of videographer and related vendors, on-site supervision, budget adherence, and editorial oversight and approval.

    Identify and develop compelling content and learning strategies for CDS member workshops, webinars, committees, forums, roundtables, online education, and Midwinter Meeting.

    Develop process in obtaining and delivering content for all designated educational events, this includes potential calls for contents, speaker management and in-kind support. Oversees digital course content and content library.

    In collaboration with Director, Scientific Programming, support the Societies’ continuing education accreditation compliance with ADA CERP

    Serves as the primary staff liaison to the Midwinter Meeting planning committees, ensuring that all educational conference elements are on-time, within the scope, and consistent with budgeted resources while establishing a rapport and building trust with the committee.

    Manage and sustain committees, roundtables, and forums that effectively bring together members for peer-to-peer sharing, collaboration, relationship building, and mentoring.

    Leads in a manner that is consistent with the association’s culture statement and emphasizes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

    Displays a high level of accountability, taking responsibility for individual actions and the impact on the organization. Views oneself as a reflection of the organization by following through on commitments and accepting ownership.

    Education and/or Experience Qualifications

    Required:

    · Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    Minimum of 5 years plus years of experience developing annual conferences, workshops, and other programs for adult learners in a non-profit environment.

    Confidence to ask questions, proactively seek out opportunities, and willingness to learn and look for ways to improve processes to achieve greater efficiency during all phases of planning.

    Success in prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details, taking initiative, effectively managing deadlines and multiple priorities.

    Association experience

    Experience with Cadmium or other virtual platforms

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    Experience with education including live event production and speaker recruitment.

    Familiarity with healthcare and distribution issues or willingness to learn these issues quickly.

    Excellent project management skills: highly organized and detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities, overlapping timelines, and consistently meet deadlines.

    Excellent organizational and analytical skills; ability to work under pressure with short deadlines.

    Team-oriented

    Ability to prioritize multiple and varied tasks within established deadlines, with minimal supervision.

    Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products
