    Job Description

    Role Purpose:

    Seeking a motivated and skilled procurement professional to lead the negotiation of artificial intelligence (AI) and other cutting-edge technology agreements as a key member of the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Procurement team. This role is integral to shaping our organization's approach to technology sourcing and offers the chance to develop as a thought leader in AI and innovative technology procurement.

    The position involves strategy implementation, agreement negotiations, vendor management, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. In addition to driving NBCUniversal initiatives, this individual will collaborate with Comcast and Sky Procurement Teams, as well as business stakeholders, to drive impactful global enterprise deals and agreements in a fast-paced environment.

    This is not a purely transactional role - successful candidates will proactively identify and pursue cost-saving opportunities and contract optimizations, ensuring continuous improvement and maximum value for the organization.

    The ideal candidate will bring a growth mindset, a collaborative attitude, and a curiosity about cutting-edge technologies, particularly in the media and entertainment industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review, draft, and negotiate various agreements, including those for cloud services, AI technologies, software licensing, content delivery network (CDN), SaaS, and technology development.
    • Develop and maintain expertise to advise on AI-related contract provisions and AI-enabled products and services.
    • Lead RFP processes, including pre-bid and post-bid activities.
    • Analyze proposals, vendor capabilities, and conduct due diligence, including background checks.
    • Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to inform decision-making.
    • Collaborate with legal, finance, information security, and governance teams to ensure timely project execution.
    • Build and manage vendor relationships to maximize value and minimize risks.
    • Maintain accurate contract and spend data in procurement databases.
    • Identify cost reduction opportunities and develop strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement of IT products and services.
    • Solid commercial acumen, with experience negotiating contracts and supporting legal and cyber security teams.
    • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and data analysis.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Proactive self-starter with a track record of identifying and leading initiatives.
    • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
    • Working knowledge of generative AI, cloud infrastructure, software/SaaS, and related technologies is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with procurement in the media and entertainment industry is an advantage.

    This position has been designated as hybrid , generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
