HCT seeks experienced nursing professional to serve as the Manager, Family Birth at a 150+ bed hospital in Washington. The focus of this assignment is on:
- leading and motivating staff to develop their expertise, knowledge, and skills,
- directing and evaluating patient care activities to improve throughput; and
- collaborating and coordinating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree RN required; Master's degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct, clinical experience in Women's Health combined with 3 years of progressive management experience; strong communication skills; collaborative leadership style; effective interpersonal skills when working with physicians and staff
- License: State of Washington or Compact RN license required
- Certifications: BLS, NRP required
- Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (Cerner) experience and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) preferred
