    Job Description

    The Digital & Streaming Ad Sales Finance Manager is responsible for core ad sales finance processes for our rapidly growing Streaming portfolio, primarily supporting NBC Entertainment, NBCU & “SpinCo” Cable Entertainment (Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SyFy, USA), and our Syndicated Shows. This role will also provide key ownership of broader business reporting across the entire NBCU portfolio. The role includes cross-functional exposure with Pricing, Sales, Planning, Marketing, Research, and Division Finance teams.

    Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

    • Provide ongoing support to Senior Director, Ad Sales Finance in fundamental reporting and analysis
      • Ownership of Portfolio Sales reporting and KPI analysis
      • Support portfolio revenue forecasting process (budget, long range plan, estimates)
      • Assist in creating executive level presentations for budget, LRP, and forecast cycles
      • Analyze and prepare drivers of key variances and trends (Pricing, Traffic Performance, Sell-thru, etc.)
      • Improve depth of existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for both Finance and Sales teams
      • Leverage best practices with peers to develop consistent processes for the entire Digital Portfolio
      • Execute routine ad hoc analysis and historical sales requests
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, Operative, Salesforce, Business Intelligence, etc.)
    • Support Sales teams to ensure accurate reporting and provide strategic insights
    • Develop expertise in digital ad market trends, growth, and competition
    • Work cross-functionally on ad hoc, Sales related projects
    • Represent Portfolio Finance on key Ad Sales initiatives (systems enhancements, research/measurement, etc.)
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) at an accredited college or university
    • 5+ years of finance experience
    • Prior experience in a finance role supporting an ad sales function within a media or entertainment company highly desired
    • Ability to build financial models (i.e.: advanced excel skills) and presentations for senior leadership
    • Demonstrated analytical strength and process mindset – ability to identify and resolve key issues quickly
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with accuracy
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Thorough knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Demonstrates leadership skills, especially ability to influence and lead change in cross-functional teams
    • Proven team player with the ability to take on different assignments/projects in a timely manner
    • High energy and ability to multi-task

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
