Position Summary: The Manager, Fleet Services is responsible for overseeing the company's fleet operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective use of vehicles and equipment. This role involves managing the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of vehicles, optimizing fleet performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, in addition to the day-to-day management of fleet mechanics ensuring high standards of customer service. This role also provides critical support to the Logistics Lead during major restoration events.

STORM DUTY REQUIREMENTS.... Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment: LCEC provides critical services to our community during an emergency. • 0-5 years of supervisory experience or any equivalent combination of education and relevant operations experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and machine capability, material handling, cost, inventory and quality management, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods required.
• Knowledge of company product(s) and their uses required.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including analysis, knowledge and experience, and judgment required.
