    Job Description

    The Manager, Global Business Insights sits within Global Strategic Insights and Delivery, specifically working on the Marketing Intelligence team. This role will leverage expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization to fuel our global performance in customer visits, sales, and market share. This role frequently interfaces with senior leaders and supports our many global markets. The ideal candidate will balance strategic analytical thinking, technical skills, project leadership skills and the ability to connect human insights with data to communicate results and inspire action.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Data analysis: Detect and communicate impactful insights across multiple data domains (sales, transactions, product mix, market share, customer satisfaction, and more)
    • Reporting: Support the automation and continuous enhancement of functional and executive-level reporting on business health
    • Strategic Support: Serve as data and analytics advisor to McDonald’s leadership and functional teams, providing ongoing analytical support. Help create efficiencies across markets by sharing best practices and cross-market learnings.
    • Industry and Competitor Insights: Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics using internal, public, and third-party data
    • Enterprise BI Leadership: Promote “One McDonald’s Way” of KPIs, measurement design and metric definitions in coordination with subject matter experts; support efforts to improve our data assets and enhance their usage

    The expected salary range for this role is $112,860-$143,900 ** __** per year

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Business Acumen: Good understanding of financial drivers of company performance and must be able to quantify business impact from analyses
    • Large Datasets: Hands-on experience independently analyzing large datasets and relational databases
    • Technical Proficiency: SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, data prep tools (e.g., Alteryx) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
    • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of consumer-facing businesses such as Restaurant, Retail, or Hospitality industries, with emphasis on businesses with a digital component preferred
    • Strategy: Intellectual curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to give strategic recommendations
    • Data Storytelling: Skilled in data visualization and using data to tell a story
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in developing executive-level communications and effectively communicating complex findings
    • Drive for Results: Ability to independently own and drive workstreams, balancing demands and deadlines, and managing competing and changing priorities
    • Lead complex project: Ability to lead analytical projects with multiple stakeholders across different global functions and markets.
