  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Manager, under minimal direction, will have a strong background in union environments to lead and support HR operations. This role will focus on managing employee relations, investigations, grievances, performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will serve as a key liaison between management and union representatives, ensuring fair and effective resolution of labor issues while maintaining compliance with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), labor laws and company policies.

    Required Skills

    • Experience conducting investigations and implementing fair disciplinary actions.

    • Integrate effectively across various healthcare settings
    • In-depth knowledge of employment laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, NLRA).

    Required Experience

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration, HR management, or related field.
    • 5+ years Professional human resources or related experience.
    • Labor relations with Union experience
    • Previous supervisory experience
    • LA City Fire card within 6 months of employment

    Preferred:

    • Master’s Degree highly desired.
    • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
