Job Description
The Manager of Media Planning will work closely with the team to lead the strategic direction of media plans within their dedicated group. You must demonstrate a working knowledge of the media planning space (Traditional and Digital media preferred) and available media research and systems. You will help manage the daily workload by assuring focus on client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs. You will report to the Director, Media Planning and will manage a direct report.
Responsibilities:
2+ years experience working on a large account (ideally retail)
Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines (SEM, Social, TV, OLV, OOH, Radio etc)
Experience with full funnel media awareness campaigns
Coordinate with creative agencies on creative assets and accounts needs
Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)
Comfort managing and communicating directly with clients on questions/concerns and specific media plans
Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of relevant media planning and buying experience
Ideally familiar with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools, etc.
1+ years managing junior team members

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
