Experience guidelines:
- Proven leadership of the network and telecom team and management of all voice and data network, wireless, and telecom infrastructure for a corporate or public sector environment
- Prefer knowledge of legacy voice and call center systems such as Cisco Finesse, along with UCaaS.
- Network certification such as Cisco CCNA.
- Ability to manage risks and handle crises.
- Exceptional customer communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and ability to organize and maintain multiple tasks and processes.
- Ability to implement formal procedures for increasing productivity, driving consistent service delivery and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technological problems.
- Experience with developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for network hardware and services.
- Experience in developing and renewing service contracts on-time and establishing service level agreements with telecom providers.

- Manage upgrade of VoIP phone system to UCaaS solution.
- Vendor management and cost negotiations for cost/value based pricing.
- Lead network/voice incident response activities, root cause analysis, and mitigation.
- Ensures high availability of mission critical business systems
- Proactively monitors infrastructure resources to mitigate outages and service interruptions.
- Ensures timely upgrades and patches to infrastructure firmware, hardware, and software products.
- Maintain network security.
- Leads best practice firewall management.
- Guides network architecture and hardware refresh strategy to fit business requirements and projected growth.
- Establishes and maintains infrastructure standard operating procedures.
- Organizes and maintains inventory of all hardware and software resources.
- Network and voice project management.
- Annual budget preparation, expense monitoring, invoice approvals.
- Procurement of network and voice services, hardware, and software.
