HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Manager of the Operating Room at a 300+ bed hospital in Northern California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identifies and works to remove barriers that may hinder the delivery of care or the achievement of process/productivity improvement and efficiency.
• Provides and fosters an inclusive work environment that encourages staff engagement, team building and collaboration, establishing a culture of teamwork.
• Monitors department productivity, ensuring operational challenges are addressed timely.
• Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required 
• Experience: Previous clinical management and/or operations experience with increasing responsibilities combined with strong communication skills; collaborative leadership style and effective interpersonal skills when working with physicians and staff.
• License: California RN license required
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Computer Skills: Information systems experience (EPIC) and Microsoft Officer suite
