    The Peacock Program Scheduling team is responsible for crafting the launch strategies for all original programming, coordinating all incoming acquired and current season content from NBCU, and managing all internal communication regarding the service's content plans.

    The Program Scheduling Manager will provide essential support to the Program Scheduling team in the ideation, tracking, and execution of all content launch plans and communications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Content Launch Planning Support * Support the Director of Program Scheduling in the development of launch proposals for Peacock original content. * Update Airtable content trackers, calendars, and strategy decks to reflect any changes or additions. * Track and document legal details for each title. * Collaborate with Partner Operations to identify operational risks for launch, to determine start dates when applicable, and to confirm titles ready for publication. * Secure and track original series materials (i.e. scripts, production calendars, etc.) and flag relevant updates to the team. * Monitor cross-functional communication forums, keeping stakeholders informed of the latest programming updates. * Assist with tracking content performance.
    • Competitive Tracking * Lead the researching, documentation, and presentation of all content launch dates and industry trends from the SVOD landscape. * Author Monthly Competitive Overview and lead ad hoc competitive audits and analyses
    • Content Curation * Act as Programming point of contact for all content curation. Responsible for communicating and providing content lists to cross-functional partners. * Lead the research and tagging/tracking of content for topical events, stunts, and audience-specific efforts. * Sustain and update the Airtable content tracker, topical events calendar, and any relevant documents.
    • Current Season Planning Support * Track current season content across NBCU linear partners, capturing content and scheduling details in the Airtable content tracker. * Regularly audit and cross check all scheduling tracking documents to ensure they accurately reflect the latest schedules from our partners.
    • Manage NBCU Page * Serve as direct manager for the team’s Page and provide onboarding, training and coaching. * Leverage the Page as a resource to help with Competitive Tracking and Content Curation efforts.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 2+ years of experience in content planning or a relevant role in the media industry.
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); knowledge of Airtable is a plus.
    • Meticulous, thorough, and highly detail-oriented.
    • Work with precision and polish.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
    • Resourceful self-starter, able to make recommendations and execute tasks with minimal direction. Requires excellent decision-making capabilities.
    • Must be a strong team player willing to contribute wherever resources are needed.
    • Ability to multitask, be flexible, and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in data entry and cross-checking work.
    • Possess a passion for content and have a working knowledge of the direct-to-consumer media business.

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 (bonus eligible)
